Yes. You can upgrade or downgrade your VPS plan at any time. To make a change, select the Upgrade option for the desired VPS server in the Gen5 Dashboard.
All plan changes are prorated. Any unused service time is applied as an account credit, which is automatically deducted when the updated service level is billed.
Yes — disk space can be increased at any time. You may expand your VPS storage from the included 150 GiB up to 250 GiB–1 TiB of high-performance NVMe SSD storage with RAID protection, depending on availability.
Disk space cannot be reduced once expanded. This is a limitation of KVM virtualization, which does not support shrinking virtual disks after expansion.
To simplify scaling, disk size remains consistent across VPS plan tiers. This allows you to scale CPU and memory resources up or down for high-traffic events, seasonal demand, or short-term campaigns without needing to reconfigure storage.
Additional disk space can be selected during checkout or added later from the Dashboard under Upgrade Options for any active VPS server. If your workload requires more than 1 TiB of total storage on a single VPS, please open a support ticket through our dashboard at https://dashboard.arcustech.net/submitticket.php so our team can review your requirements and discuss available options.
Each Managed and Self-Managed VPS plan includes a listed data transfer amount. This figure is not metered, and there are no overage charges.
The listed transfer amount is provided as a general guideline for the typical monthly data usage a given plan can comfortably support in a mixed-use environment, where both dynamic pages and static assets are served directly from the VPS without a content delivery network (CDN).
We strongly recommend placing your site behind a CDN such as Cloudflare. With proper caching configured, a CDN can significantly reduce outbound data transfer, improve load times for visitors worldwide, and help protect your site from abusive traffic and DoS/DDoS attacks.
Many CDN providers, including Cloudflare, offer free or low-cost plans that deliver meaningful performance and security benefits without adding complexity or significant cost.
VPS services are billed on an automated monthly, semi-annual, or annual billing cycle until the service is canceled.
Invoices are generated 14 days before the renewal date and appear in your Dashboard as unpaid invoices. You may review and pay the invoice at any time before the due date.
If the invoice remains unpaid, the payment method on file will be automatically charged on the due date, and a receipt will be emailed once payment is processed.
Receipts and billing history are available at any time through your Dashboard.
We accept the following payment methods for VPS services: Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Discover, and direct ACH withdrawals processed securely via Stripe ACH.
All services are billed as auto-renewing subscriptions using the selected billing term (monthly, semi-annual, or annual).
Refunds are available for new accounts within the first 7 days. If you cancel a newly created service within seven (7) days of the initial order, you may request a full refund.
Refunds are not available after the first 7 days, on renewal invoices, or for unused service credits. If you believe there are extenuating circumstances, please open a support ticket so our team can review your request.
