Because of the "every 90 days" renewal policy of Let's Encrypt, compared to the 1 year for commercial SSL certificates we generally recommend this for smaller web sites, non-profits, organizations with smaller budgets, or if you are simply interested in supporting a more open-source type of product. For commercial, for-profit and e-commerce web sites we do recommend you consider longer term, commercially purchased SSL certificates.
Cloudflare's SSL options, like all of their CDN and Abuse protection features are very easy to implement, even on their Free plan. You can choose from their Universal Free SSL offering or Dedicated SSL certificates that are signed only for your specific domain name, starting at $5/month on any Cloudflare account plan.
